    Our vehicle was ready in just a few hours time and the cost was about half of what was estimated. The check out process was easy, and the service tech and cashier were both friendly and approachable.

    I dropped my truck off for the first oil change and 2 recalls from GM. I called this morning about 8:45 to make sure it was ready since I live about 30 minutes away. That call went to voice mail and I left a message that I would wait on a call back to confirm the status before I headed that way in about an hour. I still hadn’t heard anything by 11:00 so I called in again. My calls were sent to voice mail so I called back 2 more times, for a total of 3 tries to reach a human, and all 3 tries went to different voice mails. This is unacceptable. Someone from service did actually call me about 5 minutes after my last try and was able to tell me that the truck was really ready to pick up. The service was fine, but the communication lag is totally unacceptable in my opinion. Rick Kruse. Side note: Normally when I have any of my vehicles serviced at a dealership they run them through a car wash. Apparently that is not done at this dealership

    After I picked up my Acadia and got home, I noticed 2 dents in the hood which were not there prior to taking it to Dan Young. I can only speculate that someone dropped the Air Hose on the Hood while rotating the tires. I took it back to the dealership and pointed out the dents and scrape to the guys in the service department. I understand that we are all human and mistakes happen all the time, but for them to try and tell me that it didn't happen at the dealership is totally unacceptable. I was assured by Tony Osbon, Service Manager, and Charles Witt that it would be repaired. Just irritated that I've only owned the Acadia for a month and to top it off I have worked as a driver for DanYoung for almost 10 years and to have guys who work there not own up to a simple mistake is not good. I do appreciate that it will be taken care of when I return from a trip out of state.
